Silver plated food dome

This is an interesting decorative piece. It is a vintage silver plated food cover. It would have been used to cover food on a well dressed table top during an important dinner. It comes with a loop so that it can be hung on a wall as these things were often stored on the walls when not in use. Note: There are some dents in the metal.
